Sports Scholarship Videos
Vying with other young athletes for limited sports scholarships from targeted schools and universities can be an exhausting endeavor. One way to present a candidate’s talent to decision-making coaches is to submit to them a short video highlighting the aspiring athlete’s achievements. This could be a “greatest-hits” video, which features very short clips of the candidate’s performance, i.e. handling the ball, scoring touchdowns or catching passes, making a long jump shot, or hitting the ball over the volleyball net. These highlights can use place markers such as arrows or circles to make the candidate more visible to the coach. After production, these normally are duplicated and sent to as many schools as the candidate is interested in attending. Coaches are becoming accustomed to these “presentations” as an effective way to view new talent.
